Credit Reference Agency
An organisation that collects and maintains credit data on individuals and businesses, which lenders use to assess creditworthiness. In the UK there are three main credit reference agencies: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Each holds slightly different data, so your credit score may vary between them. You have the legal right to access your data from each agency.
