County Court Judgment

The full name for a CCJ — a legal ruling by a county court in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland that confirms you owe money to a creditor. Scottish courts issue a similar document called a Decree. A County Court Judgment is a serious negative marker on your credit file and can restrict access to mainstream credit for up to six years.
